the hot air affair is an annual hot air balloon festival in hudson, wisconsin. i was dying to go and see the hot air balloons. we got there at 7:30am (!!) to find out that it was too windy and cloudy for the balloons to actually take off. they blew a lot of the balloons up, but they just sat there in the fields. i’m not going to lie, i was still pretty much in awe of the whole thing. my favorite balloon was the one that was sponsored by a grocery store and it had these three dimensional foods coming out of it. i’m trying to convince tony to go on an actual hot air balloon ride soon (it’s not going well).
