I love the holiday items at Trader Joe’s! These items are great for gifts, for hosting family over the Holidays, or just for yourself! I have to preface this post by saying that I do not like mint, so I have not included any mint items here. Sorry not sorry! If you like peppermint and chocolate and things like that, you will have to go browse yourself (lol!) But without further ado, I narrowed down my list to 15 must-have Trader Joe’s products this holiday season.
(1) Holiday Greens
At Trader Joe’s they have really great greenery, wreaths, and trees. I love these ‘centerpiece wreaths’ that you lay down on your table and use as a centerpiece. I like to put a candle in the middle (and it turns out so pretty!) They also have real mistletoe and a real grinch tree.
(2) Cookie Butter Cookies
If you are a Trader Joe’s fan, you are most likely familiar with cookie butter. I could eat that stuff straight out of the jar! These are cookies with cookie butter in the middle. They may have these all year, but the Holiday season is a great time to buy cookies!
(3) Cranberry Orange Scone Cookies
We all know and love the cranberry orange scones from Trader Joe’s, but during the Holidays they have a scone version. This would be a great (and sort of different) cookie to bring to a cookie exchange or over for Christmas Eve.
(4) Cinnamon Roll Wreath
The cinnamon rolls from Trader Joe’s are delicious, and the Holiday version is in a wreath shape. This is a great idea for breakfast if you are having company stay over for Christmas. It looks really fancy (but is super easy) and also delicious!
(5) Jingle Jangle
I can’t say ‘jingle jangle’ without thinking of the TV show Riverdale (anyone else?!) But Trader Joe’s version of Jingle Jangle is a mix of chocolate covered mini pretzels, chocolate covered popcorn, broken Joe-Joe’s cookies, chocolate candies, and mini peanut butter cups.
(6) Cheese Fondue
This is one of my ALL-TIME favorite holiday items from Trader Joe’s. We buy this every year (in early December usually) because they ALWAYS sell out. We like to do fondue for New Year’s Eve or Valentine’s Day, so he make sure we grab this early!
(7) Goat Cheese
Trader Joe’s carries a few different Holiday-ish goat cheese logs. I love the cranberry chevre and they also have fig goat cheese log. Goat cheese is my favorite cheese and these fancier goat cheese logs are a fabulous addition to a charcuterie board.
(8) Coffee Cup Celebration
Calling all Keurig users! Trader Joe’s carries a holiday variety pack of K-cups. The flavors are things like caramel and gingerbread. This is an excellent purchase if you are having company over, but also just a great idea for yourself!
(9) Hot Cocoa O’s
I love cold cereal. I could honestly eat bowls of cereal for dinner and be so happy about it. During the Holiday season, they have a hot cocoa flavor of “O’s” (which are basically cheerios). This could be breakfast or dessert really!
(10) Holiday Chocolates for Gifts
Trader Joe’s has SO MANY different chocolates and candies that would make great gifts. They have their usual chocolates like the dark chocolate peanut butter cups (my favorite!) but during the Holidays they have some fun different ones as well.
(11) Scandinavian Tidings
These candies are basically Trader Joe’s take on Swedish fish. I actually haven’t tried these, but have heard other people raving about them. Obviously in Minnesota we have a lot of Scandinavian influence, so these seem to be really popular.
(12) Cedar Balsam Candle
Trader Joe’s has some great candles, and this Cedar Balsam scent is just like the Frasier Fir candle but a lot cheaper. I love to check out the little section of candles and beauty products because they have a lot of affordable and natural options.
(13) Camembert Cheese And Cranberry Sauce Fillo Bites
We got these as an appetizer for a Holiday party we had a few years ago and they were a big hit. The Trader Joe’s freezer appetizer case (if you’re a regular, you know that I am talking about!) has a lot of great appetizer options and this one is perfect for the holidays.
(14) Eggnog
The eggnog from Trader Joe’s is my FAVORITE! They have a regular version, a light version, and also an almond version. I haven’t tried the almond eggnog yet, but I plan to this year. I know eggnog isn’t for everyone, but I REALLY like the Trader Joe’s versions compared to other brands.
(15) Panettone Cake
This traditional Italian cake is good all the time, but a special little Holiday tip for you… slice this cake and make it as French toast! Your life will be forever changed. There is something so delicious about French toast on Christmas morning.
