style in bloom! - Wedded Liss

spring is definitely in the air in minneapolis! the past few weeks have been beautiful, and we have been spending a ton of time outside. we love to go on walks with ella or just sit out on our patio. i have to admit though, trying to pick out outfits for this spring weather had me kind of bummed out. my spring clothes are just feeling kind of blah. i stopped into gordmans the other day to check out what they have for spring (gordmans just opened at southdale minne friends, go check it out!) i was loving all of the pastels, fringe, and florals! and then i saw this dress. i love a good floral, i love me some bohemian, and i love pink, so this dress was a definite must for me. it’s pretty, ladylike, and now mine! these sandals are comfortable (and flat!) and great for those days when you know you’re going to do a ton of walking or standing (i’m wearing these to every summer concert or festival we go to for sure). and my new shades! i love a blue lense in the summer, is that just me? i got the dress, sandals, and sunglasses at gordmans all for under 50 bucks!

even though I bought this outfit a few weeks I ago, I was saving it for something special. the other weekend when the weather was close to 70 degrees (march in minnesota, what?) I was like, this is it floral dress, it’s time. tony and I had a date night out and he captured these photos on the way! isn’t he getting kind of good at photography?!

it got a bit cool (and so windy!), so I threw on this jacket. i love a leather jacket for transitioning into spring. p.s. it looks goods with jeans too.
