It’s May! What?! Why was March the longest month ever and then April just flew by? Crazy quarantine times I guess. Is Spring over? I feel like May is still Spring, but I’ve got Summer on the brain! Anyway, here is a roundup of the best sellers this Spring.
1 – Blackout Curtains (Rosie’s Room)
These blackout curtains were BY FAR the most popular item this Spring. There must be a lot of mamas who are wanting their babies to take better naps! We have two sets of blackout curtains in our house (Rosie’s room and our room) and I prefer the ones in Rosie’s room but they did not have the color I wanted. Get these ones if you can! One panel is $27 and we have three in Rosie’s room.
2 – Blackout Curtains (Our Room)
These blackout curtains were also HUGELY popular. I got these for our room because I liked the color ‘sour cream.’ Our house is primarily ivory, and this is the perfect ivory color. These are not as good (still good!) as the ones in Rosie’s room. These are $25 for each panel and we have two in our room.
3 – Brass Curtain Rod
This is the curtain rod we hung in our room. I love the brass color and I love the simplicity of it. I think it looks much more expensive than $30. It can adjust to different lengths depending on how large your window is. It was very easy to install.
4 – Mommy and Me Trench Coats
These trench coats may be my favorite items of the Spring? I think I love them so much because a trench coat is such a funny item to put on a baby, yet it is exactly something I would wear. You can see a lot more photos in this blog post I did with Bailey’s Blossoms.
5 – Mommy and Me Dresses
These dresses are so darn cute for Spring and Summer. The material is super stretchy and comfortable (was not expecting that). We plan on wearing these for Mother’s Day and other fun events this Summer! I love Bailey’s Blossoms for mommy and me clothes and also for just baby clothes! See more photos in this blog post.
6 – Gold Coin Necklace
Tony bought me this necklace back in March. It’s a St. Christopher medal, which is for protection (in the Catholic faith). Tony has a larger one that he wears and I’ve always thought about getting one. Gold coin necklaces are very trendy right now, and I love that this one has extra meaning too.
7 – Magic Sleep Suit
This sleep suit worked amazing for us for months! Is it magic? It’s kind of like a weighted blanket for a baby. It helps the baby feel safe and snug and everything without being swaddled. Rosie was in the small size and then moved to the large size and has now outgrown it (she now wears this sleep sack).
8 – Personalized White Books
I shared these books in my Mother’s Day ideas post and they were a hit! I got four of these books for Christmas and I got them with Rosie’s first name, middle name, birth date, and birth weight. The books are on shelves in our living room. They are great for styled book shelves or on your mantle.
9 – J. Crew Winter Boots
I know it’s weird that I bought Winter boots in the Spring but I had been admiring these cozy faux fur boots for months and they went on crazy sale. They still have a few sizes left (if you are an 11 or 12) and they are still super affordable.
