on my final day, we spent some time in the city as we hadn’t done much of that yet. we started off on foot toward the mission. we ran into minnesota street just a few blocks from my sister’s apartment. i of course had to get a few photos. its nice to think mallory has a little bit of home not that far away.
mallory’s neighborhood is just the cutest. there is this community garden where anyone in the neighborhood can plants flowers and vegetables. i just can’t get over how cool this city is.
the mission. this place is full of vintage stores, graffiti, and burritos. obsessed. we had the best burrito of all time at la taqueria. this burrito is featured in tons of tv shows and is well worth the wait. order it crispy. you heard it here.
after burritos, we took the BART (san francisco metro) over to the ferry building. we walked around the ferry building and checked out all the vendors. we then walked to fishermen’s wharf. this is very touristy, but how could i come to san francisco and not go see the seals?
we walked to north beach from there. let’s talk about north beach. this is totally where i would live if i lived in san francisco. with all of the cafes and italian restaurants it was liked you teleported over to italy for a second. we stopped for a cappuccino at a little cafe and enjoyed the sunset.
amazing weekend with my amazing sister. if you missed the first 2 parts of my adventure click here and here.
i took the red eye and got in at 5:30am. then i went straight to work. ugh.
