hi! long time no talk! we had a lot of fun over the christmas holidays and i wanted to share some of our favorite moments with you. after all, it’s the most wonderful time of the year! christmas shopping at the mall of america. they have the best christmas decorations and make us feel very festive! . every year we try to volunteer a few extra hours around the holidays. we volunteer monthly at our church but it’s nice to add some additional time in around christmas. one of the events we like to do is bell ringing! we always ring at the skyway entrance of macy’s downtown. the best part about this location is that it’s inside! after bell ringing we went to the macy’s christmas display on the top floor. we like to go to the display every year together, and every year the auditorium is decorated floor to ceiling in christmas decor. we are so bummed that this macy’s is going to be closing! i’m so excited we went for a final time as that is a christmas tradition that we love. how amazing is the christmas party invitation from tony’s mom? so cute! my friends were so impressed when they saw this, they were like, “i think my mom sent me a text message!” just a few photos of ella really getting into the spirit! my mom and i went to ‘the curious incident of the dog in the night-time‘ over the holidays. i have read this book multiple times, but could never have imagined how they would bring it to life on stage. amazing! the book and show both do such a fantastic job of broadening the public’s understanding of what it might be like to live with aspergers. go to this show if it is in your city! also, my mom told me that i looked like an elf in what i was wearing, so i when i got home i took a photo in the mirror and got a good laugh. maybe it was the tights? we had our “family christmas” (me, tony, and ella) at the hewing hotel in our neighborhood. the bar area is dog-friendly so we wanted to check it out. it was such an amazing space and we can’t wait to check out the restaurant too. maybe even have a staycation there sometime! these kate spade bobby pins give me life! i worked from home a few days over the holidays and i loved this cozy look for couch working. a little sequin and a little coffee. perfect. my outfit for a friend’s birthday party. i’m trying to get better at posting more outfit photos here and on instagram because i feel like that is what you guys like!
our christmas tree with tons of presents! i literally don’t thing i’ve ever wrapped this much for christmas. for some reason the number of gifts this year was off the charts.
this is opi ‘in a holidaze’ and was my go-to color this christmas! we went on a date to the holidazzle market. random but they have the best mini donuts there! there was a really cool art/light installation that was interactive. you pulled on this rope and the head moved up and down. really cool. this photo doesn’t quite do it justice. but i hope you get it. christmas at my mom’s house! i love her faux fur stockings! happy holidays!
