these are just some photos of what we’ve been up to lately! lacrosse season started the day we got back from vacation, so tony has been super busy. tony is the offensive coordinator for anoka high school (go tornadoes!) i get to as many games as i can, but it’s nice to have a little “me-time” too while he is coaching. other than that, we have been hanging out at a lot of local breweries, enjoying some new restaurants, and loving the weather! check out more photos and updates below!
tony’s mom got ella this cute pink dress and now ella wears it all the time. (note: ella loves wearing clothes, and when she’s not wearing clothes, she carries them around as if she wants us to put them on her). i’m kind of embarrassed that i am going to be one of those moms that dresses to match her children because randomly i was wearing the same color sweater as ella’s dress, and i just couldn’t get enough of it.
another one 🙂
we checked out a bunch of breweries in the last few weeks. we went to 56 brewing, lakes and legends, eastlake, modist, inbound, and fulton. i guess we’re just in a brewery mood? modist and inbound are both new in our neighborhood, and we will definitely be back. 56 brewing in northeast (above) gives me all of the minnesota feels. i just love it.
pink beer? 100 times yes.
wine in a can is a thing. obsessed!
we have a standing date with tony’s sister lauren and her fiancé nick on the second thursday of the month (i think. is that right guys?) on our last date we tried ramen kazama and it was amazing! i ordered the #2 (not sure the name) and it had pork bone marrow broth (!!) one thing to note is that the restaurant is very hot and so is the food, so we were literally profusely sweating the whole time. go on a cooler day!
watching my husband coach. he is the cutest.
this little tree near our place is in bloom. i love that spring is finally here!
ella loves laying out on the patio. she frequently crosses her legs like this (with no assistance from me) and i think it is the sweetest thing.
we love spyhouse coffee and like to come here on the weekends when we can. i love to order the caramella. especially on a cold and rainy day like yesterday. tony likes a good cold brew.
i’m obsessed with the tile here. i also just started pretending that the ‘s’ on the floor is for schrank. i told tony this and he suggested we have this tiled in our kitchen. i would not be upset.
this is the cutest lunch that i had with my cutest mom the other day. this open-faced goat cheese creation at bachelor farmer cafe was everything. i also really love the tile here (the tile game is strong in the north loop).
happy monday everyone. more updates to come!
