we just spent a few days down at disney for tony’s cousin’s wedding. both the bride and groom absolutely love disney and it was their dream to get married there. i have to admit, the more weddings i go to, the more they all start to blend together. not this one. there is no way we will forget this one.
the wedding guests all stayed at disney’s pop century resort. this is one of the budget-friendly hotels at disney. it definitely wasn’t as fancy as some of the other disney resorts, but it had everything we need. pool? check! bar? check!
each building in the resort is themed in a different decade. we stayed in the fifties and it was very cute with bowling pins, and vintage fifties decor. we had fun walking around the resort and seeing all of the different years and time periods.
the year i was born the space shuttle discovery launched from cape canaveral carrying the hubble space telescope. who knew!
i must admit that we are not disney people. we had literally no interest in going to the parks. this is the closest we got to actual disney.
one thing i can’t believe i almost forgot to mention is that disney was decked. out. in christmas. it was pretty much amazing.
