my friend carly got married in jamestown, rhode island over labor day weekend. tony i and were so thrilled to join her there for her big day! jamestown is a small little town on conanicut island, which is the second largest island in narragansett bay (essentially we were off the coast of rhode island). tony and i have never been to this part of the country before, and didn’t know what to expect, but we absolutely loved it! carly and her (now) husband jacob got engaged here, a place where jacob spent many summers growing up. i can see why they are so enchanted with this place as it was pretty dreamy. there weren’t many hotels in jamestown, so we decided to try out airbnb with our friends kayla and brian. this was our first experience with airbnb (i feel like we are kind of late to the party!) it was really nice to be able to have all of the conveniences of home (wine glasses, a refrigerator, beach towels, etc.) and it was also so fun to stay in a house with great friends! we randomly ended up staying in the airbnb right next door to the bridesmaids. it ended up being so fun to come home at the end of the night and keep the party going at the place right next door. tony and i agreed that we would definitely come back to rhode island. gorgeous! the wedding was in the most gorgeous setting! it was at dragonline studios, an artist’s studio right on the water in jamestown. how cute are the place cards? rocks! i found several selfies on my camera after the wedding. hey guys!the gorgeous couple, carly and jacob! congrats you two!
