every year for christmas, tony and i love to go and get a real tree at a christmas tree farm. its not cheap (!) but it is really fun and a tradition for our family. we went to the same christmas tree farm as last year, kruegers! (see last year’s trip here!) when we first moved back to minneapolis, we went to this christmas tree farm because it was close to where we lived at the time. and now we keep going back! the place has so many memories, and we look forward to going for many years to come. one of our favorite things about this farm is that it is dog-friendly! as long as your dog is leashed and well behaved (and you pick up after them of course) dogs are welcome! it can be kind of a lot to manage with the sled, saw, dog, camera, etc. but that is part of the fun! right?

we got our tree a little late this year, so the trees were pretty picked over. we couldn’t go thanksgiving weekend because we were out of town. we learned our lesson. must go right after thanksgiving!
serious wreath obsession… 
we were awfully good this year santa! santa just happened to be at krueger’s at the same time we were. ella was very afraid of santa though!
