Happy Wednesday! I haven't posted about work wear in a while, so I thought, what better occasion than a #workwearwednesday post! I've posted a lot of pregnancy looks over the course of the past 9 months, but I haven't posted much that I would consider professional. As many of you know, I work in corporate finance. Our dress code is 'dress for your day,' and I typically wear a ruched dress (which I have been posting a lot of) and a jean jacket or cardigan. But on occasion, I do have to dress up! ... 4th of July Bump Inspiration
Hi and Happy Monday! We have a big holiday weekend coming up, so I thought I would share some 4th of July inspiration with you guys. I recently scored this red and ivory sundress from Pink Blush. They have it in both maternity and non-maternity sizes, so this is not just for the future mamas! This dress is a red and ivory stripe and is the softest material ever (honestly could sleep in it). I love that this dress is so comfy and also has pockets! I got the medium in the maternity style and I ... View the Post
5 Ways to Wear the Hair Clip Trend
I purchased this pack of 4 hair accessories on Amazon a few months ago and I wear them all the time! I knew I wanted to participate in the hair clip trend, but buying a pack of 10-12 seemed like a little much. Amazon has this pack of four for just $8 (and it's on Prime!) I've seen some retailers and boutiques charging more than $8 for just one clip! Each clip is about 3 inches long. This may seem like a lot of hair clip for some, but I find it to be such a fun statement look! The clips and ... View the Post
Save or Splurge: Ruched Bodycon Dress
If you've been following along for a while, you know about my 'magic dress' from Nordstrom. I have it in grey and black, and they're both long-sleeved. Nordstrom also has a sleeveless version that comes in tons and tons of colors. It's exactly the same, same brand (Leith), just sleeveless. I knew I would be pregnant pretty much all Summer so I thought I would buy the sleeveless version in a few colors. Until... I found the dupe on Amazon! No sense in buying the more expensive version for my ... View the Post
Dressing Up Your Baby Bump
Dressing up your baby bump does have some challenges. I’ve tried not to let pregnancy prevent me from getting a little fancy, whether that be for church, work, or a date night. It’s easy to dress a bump casually (hello leggings!) but a dress is another story. I’ve stuck mostly to non-maternity dresses in pregnancy. I want to be able to wear these dresses in August and September after baby is here. Anything that is either super stretchy or that has a looser fit typically works! If it’s fitted and ... Bump-Friendly Loft Spring Try-On
Loft is doing a 'friends and family' sale where pretty much everything is 40% off with code FRIENDS! I've been wanting to check out Loft for some bump-friendly options and ran in there last night to do a quick try-on. I found so many cute dresses and tops for Spring and these are my five favorite looks! Every item is a size medium or size 10 (my true sizes) and is working right now for the bump! I had to start with this eyelet number because it is my favorite! It's an aquamarine color (hard ... View the Post
