Rosie’s Newborn Session
Rosie is now 8 weeks old and I am just getting her newborn photos up! That's life with a newborn I guess! I absolutely loved how they turned out and I think they captured her perfectly. I had a hard time narrowing down my favorites, so here are A LOT of photos! Mackenzie Orth shot these photos (she did my maternity and fresh 48 sessions as well!) Mackenzie is the most patient photographer. She had so many cute ideas and I just love her work. If you are local to the Twin Cities, I highly ... View the Post

I ended up buying quite a few things on Amazon Prime because I didn't have the items that I needed. How much time did I spend packing that dang hospital bag, yet I didn't buy anything for once I left the hospital! Every postpartum situation is going to be different, and it depends a lot on what your birth was ... View the Post
Rosie’s Birth Story
Rosie was born on July 27, 2019 at 10:54am. She weighed 7 pounds 12 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. I wanted to share her birth story so that I will always remember one of the greatest days of my life. Rosie’s birth story begins on July 26th when I reached 39 weeks. I had my weekly appointment with my OB that morning. I was about 3 centimeters dilated and partially effaced. We decided to go ahead and do a membrane sweep, which is sort of a “natural induction” method. It doesn’t always work, ... View the Post
