getting to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary along the california coast was magical. as if the trip hadn’t been spectacular enough, we got to enjoy a celebratory anniversary dinner at the absolutely stunning four seasons resort the biltmore santa barbara. when we arrived at the hotel, it took our breath away. it is a gorgeous spanish style hotel, with beautiful gardens, and amazing ocean views. we found our way to bella vista, an oceanfront restaurant with the most beautiful outdoor dining terrace. we were promptly escorted to a table outside near one of the fireplaces, a perfect spot to enjoy dinner while taking in the sunset. we could hear the sounds of the ocean and the waves crashing, and it was super romantic. yes, the ambiance here at the biltmore is unbeatable, but you guys, the food! the menu is italian with super fresh california ingredients. tony ordered the ravioli and i ordered the herb roasted branzino, and both were excellent and so beautiful. we finished the meal with one of their specialties, the dark chocolate souffle. i love anything chocolate (and consider myself a little bit of an expert) but this dessert was second to none. i love when you can tell how much attention and love a restaurant puts into their food, and we were definitely feeling the love. we were so well taken care of here, and had absolutely phenomal service. special thank you to everyone at four seasons resort the biltmore santa barbara and bella vista! what a perfect anniversary!
