we had thanksgiving with my family on thanksgiving day. it was small but special. my mom and i made all of the food. my mom did the big items (turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy) and I filled in with green beans and carrots. we also each made a dessert. one pumpkin and one apple.
we spent a lot of the day playing outside in the snow. i cannot believe we had snow on thanksgiving. we have had an unseasonably warm fall and would never have thought we would get a white thanksgiving. the snow made it really feel like the holidays and helped us get in the spirit for christmas!
ella loves when tony gets out a lacrosse stick and plays with her. she is obsessed with tennis balls. we have to hide them from her in our house so she doesn’t run around playing with tennis balls all the time.
the drive home from my mom’s house requires us to drive right past the mall. it was so packed. we got really excited and decided to join! tony and i bought each other gifts and walked around. it was fun and maybe a new tradition!
happy thanksgiving!!
