Sonny and Theo were 9 months old on December 27th! The past three months have been full of changes for them with new skills, emerging personalities, and so much growing up! This has been such a fun age with them. I find myself thinking, “I can’t wait for what’s next!” but I have to constantly remind myself how special the stage is that we are in right now!
I can’t get over how easy Sonny and Theo are! They are so happy, so chill, and they just go with the flow. We got so lucky with these two amazing babies! I think God gives you exactly what you need sometimes and we needed these twins to be easy. They are such beautiful and sweet gifts.
I love how they have started to react when you say their names and how they have started reaching up for me when I walk by. Theo makes the cutest little nose scrunch and Sonny looks up at me with the most adoring eyes. They LOVE their mama (some things haven’t changed!) and are starting to get very attached to me. I love being their mom and they can cling to me for as long as they want!
These photos are from our family Christmas photo shoot in early December. The babies had just started sitting really well and we got some cute shots of them in a chair. Sonny has his little lean and arm draped over the chair. Theo has that one eye that squints a little more than the other and the sweetest little face.

Favorite Products at 9 Months Old
Twin Z Pillow – This is our most used item in their 9 months of life! We still use this daily for feedings. Because they are on the move now, they don’t necessarily lounge in there anymore (they just roll right over!) but they will still sit in there with some toys.
Jumpers – They love to bounce their legs in these jumpers and play with all of the fun toys on there. It’s also great for keeping them in one spot (and safe!) while I am cooking or cleaning or something. I’m not sure how long they will be in these, but for now they are great!
Sleep Sacks – We use the Kyte brand of sleep sacks and we love them! There are different weights and sizes. We have the 1.0 tog in the 6-18 month size so I think they will be in them for awhile.
Stroller – We are still regularly using the UppaBaby Vista stroller with their infant car seats. When they move into larger car seats, we will begin to use the seats a little bit more.
Bath Seats – We got two of these bath seats and if you take the back suction thing off, you can fit two in a bath tub. They love splashing and taking baths together!
Play Pen – We had this for our daughter as well, and we are using it every single day for the babies too. It works as a play pen or you can use it as a gate. It’s not sturdy enough to pull up on, but does the job for sure!
Clothes – My favorite places to shop for them are Old Navy and H&M. I like to get mostly neutrals and basics at each of these stores. They wear pajamas most of the time and my favorite brand is Angel Dear!
Toys – These boys are so happy playing or chewing on anything right now! For Christmas they got some toys that suction which are great for the high chair or bath (something like this!) They also love these mirrors that they got for Christmas too. We’re working on rolling a ball back and forth which is super cute!
