Our sweet Rosie just turned three and we had the cutest pink princess party! She had been talking for MONTHS about her birthday party but it was difficult to get her settled on a theme. She had mentioned Frozen, Moana, and Ariel, but her ideas were always changing. I thought if we had a more generic princess party that we couldn’t really go wrong. I came across this birthday party (from a blogger I follow) and loved the ideas and knew that would be my inspiration (plus I was able to purchase some of the same items!) See below for lots of photos from the party and I included all sources at the very bottom.
My favorite element was probably the cardboard castle. I love that it was decor, an activity, and also a present for Rosie to keep after the party. I left it plain white but then added the star garland. You could also paint it, use stickers, etc. It’s just a plain white cardboard material. I thought it was super easy to put together too. Rosie LOVED it. The girls could have played in there for HOURS. We are considering keeping it up year-round!
I also really loved the clothing rack with all of Rosie’s costumes on it. That is something we keep out in her playroom and that Rosie uses on a daily basis. I’m glad it was able to be a part of her birthday party since that is one of her favorite things right now. Her friends wore all the different princess costumes and shoes. I got the clothing rack secondhand, but there’s a lot of cute ones out there!
I always like to include party favors for all of the kids and thought that Princess themed Little Golden Books would be perfect and I think the kids really liked them. We also sent them all home with wands and crowns. For the wands, I just added some ribbons with washi tape. The ribbons ended up being a huge hit! What would a princess party be without some princess accessories?
The dessert table is always one of my favorite parts of the party. For desserts, Wuollet Bakery gifted us with this beautiful cake. I added the crown to the top (Rosie had mentioned she wanted that!) My mom did a fabulous job with the sugar cookies (per usual!) The cake pops we picked up from Starbucks the day before the party. That was super easy and a huge hit!
I had never done a “kids table” before and it turned out so cute. I debated whether or not to do it because there wouldn’t be enough room for everyone. But I knew Rosie would LOVE it so I set it anyway. When I showed her the space before the party started, she immediately sat down and wanted to do a little tea party.
I had these gold glittery castles everywhere. They’re technically favor boxes (I think?) so you could put candy or little toys in there. I just used them as decor everywhere (on the kids table, on the bar, on the dessert table, etc.)
