Here are my very favorite photos from our maternity family session. I knew that I wanted to take maternity photos during this pregnancy, but last minute I decided to add a short maternity family session and I am so happy that I did. These family photos were some of my favorite shots from the whole shoot. It’s also very sweet to have this time period documented. Our last family session was in July of 2021 and we didn’t even know we were pregnant yet!
Tips for a Maternity Family Session
- Do the family photos first! Kids will lose interest quickly and it’s better to get these done earlier. Once these were done, Tony was able to entertain Rosie for the rest of my photos.
- Matching outfits are always cute! I saw some photos with the white and the denim on Pinterest and tried to recreate them. I am wearing this t-shirt and Rosie is wearing this t-shirt. The rest of our items are old.
- Be flexible! Rosie didn’t want to do some of the poses, but she would do cute things on her own that our photographer was able to capture. She really wanted to pose with this small blue chair that the photographer had and we ended up incorporating that chair into some of the photos and it turned out cute!
