Happy New Year everyone! 2020 was a trip and I am definitely ready to start new! How about you guys? I am not really a “new year, new me” type person, but I love a fresh start and I love to set goals. Here is to a fabulous 2021!
Similar to last year, for my first blog post of 2021, I thought it would be fun to recap the top ten products on Wedded Liss from 2020. It’s fun to look back on the popular products because it tends to represent my year in a lot of ways. Four of the products are for the home, which makes sense since we spent a lot of 2020 working on our house! Four of the products are fashion and style, which you know is my longtime love! The other two are baby related, and you all know Rosie was a huge part of my year! Check out the top ten products below!
1 – Aruba Blackout Curtains
These are the curtains we have in our master bedroom. We have them in the ‘sour cream’ color which is a perfect neural cream (not too white, not too beige). I highly recommend blackout curtains if you have trouble sleeping in the morning, they make your bedroom so dark!
2 – Guidecraft Kitchen Helper
Rosie got a kitchen helper for her first birthday and it was a game changer! I even wrote a blog post on it this year (here!) It has been one of our most used products (by far). This is constantly sold out, but you can sometimes find them available on the Guidecraft website.
3 – Voile Overlay Blackout Curtain
Another set of blackout curtains! These are the blackout curtains we have in Rosie’s room (in the pink color). Blackout curtains are a MUST if you want to have a good sleeper. Seriously one of my biggest tips for babies. I like these curtains better than ours but they didn’t have the right color for our room. I LOVE these in the pink or the blue for a nursery!
4 – Batwing Sleeve Sweater
This sweater is one of my most worn clothings items of 2020. I bought it while in quarantine and it is the perfect comfy but cute sweater. It went on crazy sale for $11 (remember that?) and we pretty much all bought it! It comes in a handful of colors and can be worn a lot of ways (Amazon Prime too!)
5 – Kitchenaid Stand Mixer
A stand mixer an essential kitchen item! You will not regret getting one. They work SO WELL and I find that once people get one, they can’t believe they waited so long. Tony saw me use it to make cookies with Rosie, and he was like, ‘wow that was so easy.’ Highly recommend!
6 – Nursing Bras
These nursing bras were a best-seller in 2019 and they are back again for 2020! A pack of 3 is just $25 and they are amazing! They are stretchy, comfy, and work great for breastfeeding. If you are pregnant or a new mom, grab these!
7 – Blue and Cream Area Rug
This is the rug we have in Rosie’s nursery. It is BEAUTIFUL! You can see all of the nursery details here! I looked a long time for a rug for a gender neutral nursery. We did not know whether we were having a boy or girl, so our nursery was very neutral. That being said, I LOVE blue, and I knew that boy or girl, I would love to have a blue rug in that nursery.
8 – Carhartt Hat
Rosie and I have matching Carhartt hats and they are seriously so cute. Tony bought me one last Christmas, and I jumped at the opportunity to buy Rosie the toddler version (once I knew it would fit!) These hats are VERY stretchy and very comfortable.
9 – Plush and Shearling Comforter Set
We have this comforter and shams on our bed right now and we LOVE them. I normally have a white cotton duvet cover, but I thought this set was so cozy and warm for Winter. I’ve never really changed my bedding seasonally, but can’t wait to put this on our bed every Winter. It looks like you can still get a few of the sizes and colors in store.
10 – Gold Coin Necklace
This is one of the most special gifts Tony has gotten me. It’s a St. Christopher medal, which is for protection. He has worn one our entire relationship, and I thought it was so special he got me one. Lord knows in 2020 we all needed a little protection!
