This year is my first “real” Mother’s Day. Last year (when I was pregnant), I celebrated Mother’s Day because I was so excited, but this year is the real deal! Last year Tony got me with this ‘mama’ ring for my Mother’s Day gift and it was so special. This year will be even sweeter because I get to celebrate with my sweet little baby. Becoming a mom is the greatest gift I’ve ever been given, but actual gifts are sometimes nice too (lol!) Here are 9 Mother’s Day gift ideas for the special mom in your life. I own all of these gifts, so they are tried and true gifts that I love!
1 – Nespresso
I talk about this Nespresso machine constantly, but it is literally one of my most used items in my life. I use it every single day (usually twice) and it makes me so happy. If your mom loves coffee (especially lattes!) get her this. This is the model we have, but there are quite a variety of models out there.
2 – Aura Digital Frame
We are obsessed with this digital picture frame! The Aura app allows you to add photos straight from your phone to the frame. You can also add photos to other people’s frames. It’s the best way for us to share photos with our family. This gift is the priciest one on the list, but a great group gift from kids to their parents.
3 – Personalized Ring
This is the ‘Mama’ ring that Tony got me last year. The ring can say absolutely anything (her name, your name, etc.) or it can say Mom or Mama or something like. It looks really cute stacked up with other rings or on it’s own. A great personalized gift idea!
4 – Personalized books
I got these personalized books for Christmas this past year. I ordered 4 books and exactly as pictured (first name, middle name, weight, and birth date. The books are on shelves in our living room. They are great for styled book shelves or on your mantle.
5 – Monogrammed Necklace
I have had this necklace for YEARS and I was just thinking about how I need to wear it more! It’s acrylic and has a really nice weight to it. You can pick from a ton of colors and styles. This necklace would be great for a preppy or more traditional mom.
6 – Framed Photo of Yourself
I think a framed photo is always a great gift idea for moms. They love you and they love photos of you. These are the gold frames that we have in our gallery wall. They are great quality for a very reasonable price.
7 – Ultrasound Photo Frame
My sister gifted me this frame when I was pregnant and I thought that was so sweet. I framed Rosie’s first ultrasound photo in there and it is now on the shelves in our living room. It would be cute hanging in a nursery too.
8 – Roomba Vacuum
Okay, a vacuum isn’t the most exciting gift, but a robot vacuum is literally life changing. We’ve had ours for maybe 3 years? I loved it for our condo but I am OBSESSED now that we live in a bigger house. Ours works great on hardwood and on carpet. Also, Rosie is very entertained watching this!
9 – Freshly Picked Diaper Bag
This diaper bag is the whole grail of diaper bags. If you are shopping for a new mom or soon-to-be mom, get her this diaper bag. It is stylish, functional, and really great quality. I love that it has an insulated pocket, lots of different compartments, and that it’s a good size.
