I feel like I had no idea where to get the best baby clothing until I actually had a baby? It’s taken some trial and error and a lot of returns before I figured it out. Also, not all baby clothing is created equal. Once I found cute stuff that was also comfortable, soft, and good quality, I have stayed pretty loyal to those brands. Here are some of our favorites!
Baby Clothing: Pajamas / One-Pieces
Baby pajamas are essentially baby clothes, am I right? All of her “pajamas” she also wears during the day. That being said, I like the footed ones for sleeping because she can’t kick her heart rate and oxygen monitor off. I like the ones without feet for daytime. This is obviously preference of both you and your baby! Here are some of my favorite one-pieces.
Spearmint Love
This brand is my favorite of all time. I found this brand on Instagram and have purchased so many items. I love the rainbow, the gingham, and pretty much all of their prints! Remember all of the leopard Rosie wore all the time? Spearmint Love! I need to get more of these in the 6-9 month size so that we have them for the next stage! These also run a tad long and skinny I would say. Rosie has more of that body type, so these work well.
Posh Peanut
My mom bought us a few things from here and that’s how I first discovered the brand. It was so soft and comfy, that I needed to get more! Rosie has a few of these pajamas and we love them! We also have some of their swaddles, which are so soft too!
Kickee Pants
I feel like this brand is EVERYONE’s favorite. I have friends with both newborns and toddlers and they are all wearing these. We have two of these pajamas and we really like them! I love that they zip, the feet are lined and warm, and are super soft and comfy. They carry these at Nordstrom which is nice for easy shipping and returns!
Baby Clothing: Outfits
Sometimes babies do wear “real clothes” I guess! Most of the actual outfits we have are gifts from people. I also bought her some outfits for professional photos, holidays, etc. I think that if Rosie were in daycare that I would put her in clothes more often? Because we’re at home, she wears a lot of pajamas! Here are the brands that we really love!
H&M
H&M has the best stylish but also affordable baby clothing. If you want your baby to be “trendy,” this is the spot to go. I love their onesies, and their little baby sweatshirts and sweaters. I get compliments on the sweatshirt above all the time! The stuff is really cute, but not too expensive. The sizing is a little big, so I would definitely size down in H&M.
Zara
Zara Baby is not cheap, but it is super cute! I bought this entire outfit at Zara for her 3 month photos and I was like shoot, I just spent how much on baby clothes? That being said, their stuff is DARLING! I love the soft, neutral colors. The little sweater pants up there she wears all the time (still at 5.5 months!) I’m not a big “baby pink” type person, and their colors are really neutral and pretty.
Old Navy
Old Navy is cute you guys! I was really surprised at the cute and affordable options they had in there. Old Navy is great for dresses and leggings/pants. They have this style of ruffled leggings in lots of different colors. I think we have three different pairs? I also bought Rosie’s Christmas dress (see above) as well as that vest and those tights!
Baby Gap
Baby Gap is the number one place people bought us gifts from. Their stuff is a little on the pricey side but great quality. We love this sweater and these booties (she is still fitting in the 0-3 month!) and we so have many great items from there. I honestly can’t even list them all. I love her sherpa bear suit and this darling dress. I also the love the pants and onesies!
Amazon Baby Clothing
I didn’t know where to include Amazon so I am giving it its own section. Amazon is kind of a crap shoot sometimes. Some of their brands are great and others are not. That being said, it’s where I’ve purchased the majority of Rosie’s stuff. I found great pajamas on here, I also love the bows (have these, these, these, these, and these!) and you know I love these hats. Some of the brands have really weird sizing and take forever to ship from overseas. I would say read reviews and anticipate a lot of returns! Here are some of the Amazon baby finds!
