It’s been awhile since I’ve posted a blog! With our big move and then the holidays, I really struggled to get any blog posts up toward the end of 2019. But it’s a new year and I’m ready to focus up. For my first post of 2020, I thought it would be fun to recap the top ten products on Wedded Liss from 2019.
Most of the products are items that I wore while pregnant (but I was pregnant for most of 2019, so that makes sense!) That being said, I didn’t really wear many maternity clothes while I was pregnant (I just sized up for the belly). So whether you are pregnant or not, there are lots of cute dress options on here. There are also a few sweaters that I love and a few of my favorite baby items!
1 – Ruched Mini Dress
This one of my very favorite dresses while I was pregnant. It is super stretchy and comfy, and I wore it right up until the end of my pregnancy. When I was super pregnant I wore it out to an Italian restaurant and spilled sauce down the front. I haven’t been able to get the stain out! I love it so much I think I want to buy another… fit is true to size and go up one size if pregnant.
2- V-Neck Mini Dress
This dress was great up until about 7 months pregnant I’d say? It’s not stretchy but has a looser fit. I also wore it after Rosie was born and it was a great option because it’s nursing-friendly (buttons are real). I would get your true size or go up one size if pregnant.
3 – Short-sleeved Maxi Dress
This dress is THE BEST! I got it to wear while pregnant (size up one size) but I also wore it weekly for the first 2 months of Rosie’s life (when the weather was nice) and I just wore it last week in Mexico! It’s the dress that keeps on giving. I love it tied up in the front!
4 – Slippers
I bought these slippers for my hospital bag and they were a hit! I wanted something that was super affordable (in case they got lost or ruined or something). These are only $12 and come in a handful of colors. Rosie was born in July and it was hot (and the hospital was hot) and it was nice to have a slipper that wasn’t quite so warm.
5 – Nursing Bras
I couldn’t find a photo of my nursing bras, but trust me I am wearing one here. These were an Amazon find and super affordable. I have the 3-pack that has black, ivory, and nude I believe. I am actually wearing the black one right now! They are stretchy and comfy and a great price.
6 – Baby Headbands
After Rosie was born (and I knew we had a girl!) I bought these headbands on Amazon Prime immediately. These were my favorite bows for when she was a newborn. I loved bows with the really thin straps at this stage. I also put her in a few of these for her newborn photos.
7 – Boho Maxi Dress
I got this dress for our babymoon (see here!) and it was perfect. I loved the boho feel for Hawaii and it was perfect for a relaxing trip on the islands. I also wore it several times after Rosie was born (it hid my adult diaper well!) and wore it again last week in Cabo.
8 – Oversized Sweater
I had to throw it way back to find a photo of this sweater! I wore this a lot last winter when I was trying to hide my baby bump. It is super oversized and cozy for winter. It’s also a great price point and from one of my favorite affordable retailers (I posted some shopping tips here). It’s a one-size-fits-all (or most) and I am usually a large at this retailer.
9 – Easy Street Tunic
This sweater is my favorite thing to wear right now and was my best seller for December I believe. I saw so many bloggers post this sweater and I knew I needed to try it! Free People has the best sweaters, but they’re not cheap. I grabbed this sweater on sale though and it has not disappointed. Size down one size because it runs large.
10 – Mom and Me Beanies
Favorite Amazon purchase to date? I found these beanies for me and Rosie and bought them so fast! I have since purchased them in a second color. These are super warm and cute and would make a great gift for a baby shower or new baby gift.
Hope you had a great 2019 and thank you for supporting me and my blog!
