I am 30 weeks pregnant now and I don’t have one stretch mark! I know it’s still early, but I am pretty proud of this belly! I’ve heard that stretch marks are mostly genetic, but I’m doing whatever I can to try and prevent getting them. I have three different products I’ve been using for the past 7 months or so. To be honest, I don’t know which of these products is working because I have been using all three on rotation. I just cycle through the three knowing that one of them is working!
Burt’s Bees Mama Bee Belly Butter
This belly butter is the first product I got after finding out we were pregnant. I love Burt’s Bees as a brand and knew that they used really good ingredients. It is also has really good reviews! The cream is 99% natural, doesn’t have parabens, and is also unscented. The texture of this cream is like a night cream, a very thick lotion.
Palmer’s Massage Lotion for Stretch Marks
The Palmer’s lotion is probably the product I see the most on blogs and Instagram (it must work!) It’s only $6 and you can pick it up at really any Target store. I like this one because it’s just like a regular lotion and has a pump for easy application. I think you could probably put this anywhere – belly, thighs, arms, you name it! It’s also paraben-free and unscented.
Glow 9 Belly Butter
I discovered this Glow 9 belly butter only because my sister sent me one of these Bump Boxes for my birthday and it was in there! I really love the Bump Box because all of the products are safe and natural. The founders of the company are really passionate about only offering safe and effective products for mamas-to-be. This belly butter has the texture of coconut oil (like that you would cook with). For this reason, I only use this one at night because it makes your clothes super oily!
Are there any other products that I should be trying during this last trimester?
