I love trying out new safer beauty products and these 5 are new to me and I am loving them! Keep in mind that not all of these products are necessarily completely organic and natural, but these are much BETTER choices than a lot of the products that women are using. These are products that I am using literally every single day. You can tell because I’ve already lost the caps on a few things (lol!)
E.L.F. eyebrow pencil
This eyebrown pencil is the deal of the century at only $2. Most people (myself included) tend to assume cheap makeup isn’t going to be a safe beauty option, but E.l.f. totally surprised me! This eyebrow pencil is paraben-free, phthalate-free, sulfate-free, and aluminum free. This pencil is my very favorite! I will never pay more than $2 for an eyebrow pencil again.
Native deodorant (lavender scent)
I started wearing this brand of deodorant a year ago, and I actually did a whole post on it last year. So technically, this product is not new to me, but this scent is! I usually grab the coconut vanilla scent (the best seller) but I decided to try out the lavender and I am loving it! I smell a bit like a candle but I don’t mind that.
Hair Food coconut dry shampoo
This is one of those products that isn’t necessarily getting a gold star in safe beauty (it’s in an aerosol can and has butane, propane, etc.) but it doesn’t have parabens, sulfates, or dyes, so it’s a better option that a lot of brands. I love anything coconut scented because it reminds me of being on vacation. I also think that this dry shampoo works extremely well. I’m currently on day 4 hair and it’s looking better than ever! Target carries the Hair Food brand (that’s how I discovered it!) and they have a lot of great products.
Jason deodorant spray
My mother-in-law found this deodorant for me (she knows I really like the Jason brand) and I really like it! I’m not usually a fan of a spray deodorant (again it’s an aerosol) but this one at least is free of aluminum, butanes, parabens and artificial fragrances! Spray deodorants are really nice for working out or having in your gym bag.
Pacifica Alight Foundation
This foundation is my absolute go-to. I’ve been using it all Winter and Spring. It has great coverage and a really nice finish. There are 30 different shades so everyone should be able to find a good match. The best part? No silicone, parabens, phthalates, or talc and a huge list of other things that you shouldn’t put on your body. They have this brand at Target now, so I encourage you try it! When I am on vacation (or this Summer when I am tan) I like to use their cc cream!
