Spring is finally (almost here!) So many fun things to look forward to, especially in Minnesota. We’ve been freezing in the cold snow for too long! What are your favorite things about Spring? I put together five simple things that have me really excited for Spring.
The days are getting longer. With daylight savings happening this weekend, it will stay light just a little while longer. I am excited to leave work and not have it be dark outside. Also from a blog standpoint, it is so nice to be able to shoot some photos after work sometimes and not have to leave it all for the weekend!
I can’t wait to transition my wardrobe. This outfit is a great example of a transitional outfit. Keep the winter sweater on (only $30), but throw on a skirt (only $20) and some spring shoes, and you have the perfect spring-y outfit. I will also (hopefully) be packing up my winter coat and mittens soon. It will be so nice to shed some of these layers!
Needless to say, warmer weather is a huge perk. We love to spend time outside when we can – talking Ella on a walk, having coffee out on our patio, or enjoying dinner or drinks on a patio somewhere in the North Loop. As I write this, it is snowing… so hopefully this warmer weather is actually on its way!
One of the simple joys on spring weekends is going to the farmer’s market. It’s really close to our church, so after church on Sundays we like to stop there for fresh flowers and produce. We’ll sometimes have coffees or food from one of the vendors and just walk around. Such a perfect Sunday morning!
This maybe isn’t as fun as some of the other items, but I am so looking forward to spring cleaning! Tony and I are both selling tons and tons of items in the Collective Market Sale in April. We have already started gathering items for the sale and it just feels so good to purge and start over in the Spring!
