A PATRIOTIC LOOK
hello and happy wednesday! our 4th of july plans kick off on friday afternoon when we leave for our trip to savannah and charleston! everyone who i have told about our trip is like “oh a southern charm trip” (like the bravo tv shows) and i didn’t even think about that. we do love southern charm charleston (and plan to check out some of the sites featured on the show) but that’s not why we are going. if you have any recommendations for either city, please shoot me an email or comment below. i would love to hear your ideas.
i want to bring some patriotic looks for the weekend. i am thinking a lot of gingham and of course red, white, and blue! i shared this outfit for memorial day, and so you already know how much i love gingham. i love this gingham romper for daytime, because it’s super cool and comfortable. savannah and charleston are both really hot and humid, so i think this will be perfect during the day. i also love this romper at night with some wedges and a slice of watermelon. i think it is the perfect look for a BBQ with family and friends and some fireworks.

With no fun plans other than chasing around the kids, I’ll be in my regular mom outfit of jean shorts and a casual tank, but that romper is super cute and looks great on you!
