The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is here! It’s one of my very favorite sales of the year because the sale is on new FALL items (not last season’s stuff) and the prices go back up to normal after the sale is over. This is definitely the time to get sweaters, boots, jackets, and whatever else you have your eye on for Fall.
The first category I had to check out is Fall fashion. I always always look at sweaters and jackets. I got a BLANKNYC jacket in past years and I get the bp cardigan every year (new colors and a slightly different style each year). These are some of my favorite sweaters, dresses, and jackets for Fall. I hardly ever even look at jeans because I honestly think that it’s a waste of money (and I can say that because I am a recovering designer jeans addict!) I did include the Spanx leggings (which I have and love) as well as these joggers I am getting.
I know a lot of you are looking for men’s clothes for your man! A few of you do all of the shopping for your husbands! I had Tony help me with the picks here. He loves everything Johnnie-O, Barbour, and Travis Mathew, so we had to throw a lot of that in there. A lot of these items are under $50, so great deals to be had!
Baby/Kids stuff is certainly a new category for me this year. I had no idea how many good deals there were out there for babies until I actually needed some of this stuff! Both the car seat and the stroller we have are part of the sale, as well as lot of other great finds. Who can resist some of those baby shoes?!
2020 is certainly the year for comfies. Quarantine requires a lot of joggers and a lot of yoga pants, am I right? I also had my prego and postpartum moms in mind with this section. There are a lot of cute pajamas that are nursing friendly (like here, here, and here), as well as great maternity leggings. I grabbed this t-shirt for myself!
I pretty much always grab a pair of shoes in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Nordstrom has GREAT shoes, so to get them on sale is a major plus. This year I grabbed these boots. I was thinking they would (hopefully) be great for Winter and great for being a little bit stylish and a little bit cute at the same time.
My NSALE Order
When it was time to place my order, I stuck to a $200 budget (I may have gone slightly over!) I’m really happy with what I scored for $200 though! I got one dress, one jacket, one sweater, one tee, one pair of shoes, and one pair of pants. Such a well rounded order!
Rose Tee – I spotted this during the preview and knew I needed it. I love anything with a rose on it (you guys know that!) and this tee says, ‘roses are pink, give me a drink’ which I think is perfect.
BP Cardigan – I grab one of these cardigans every year! It’s always affordable and good quality. I am very into green this year for some reason, so I am loving that color.
Floral Dress – This is another item I spotted in the preview, and I wanted to get the animal print but it was sold out. To be honest, I think I am loving the floral even more. You know I love roses!
Satin Joggers – These are absolutely NOT something that I would pick out for myself, but I spotted them on a few bloggers and thought they were super cute. In the Covid era, joggers are life.
Ecru Moto Jacket – I LOVE me a jacket in the Fall. I don’t have a white jacket, and I think this will be such a cute addition to the mix. I sized up so that I can fit comfy sweaters underneath.
Black Boots – I thought this was a GREAT price for boots. I hope they are good quality, we’ll see when they arrive! I love that they are platform and a little bit punk. I think these are going to be perfect for the Fall!
