Hi and happy Monday! Yellow has always been a favorite color of mine and I don’t know why I don’t wear it more. Yellow represents optimism, happiness, and joy, and I could sure use some of that right now. I feel like I am just in a rut lately. Anyone else? Something about the cold weather and staying inside all the time? I need to get out of this rut though… maybe a mid-winter trip??
This mustard yellow is a shade I think everyone can rock. Just because it is grey and white outside, doesn’t mean that your wardrobe has to do the same. I too am guilty of all those winter neutrals (I mean check out a few of my recent posts!) This week was the perfect time to pull out this yellow lace top and try to brighten up things around here!
I got this yellow lace top from 1403 Pom recently (are you sick of me posting about my finds from there yet?!) I wore it to the Lana Del Rey concert a few weeks ago. It was perfect for Lana because it has boho vibes with the bell sleeves. Do you like how I refer to Lana like I know her? Ha! Anyway, it looks good on it’s own, or front tucked into high-waisted jeans. I think it will be great for transitioning into spring. Whenever that happens in Minnesota. Maybe April?
